AN APPEAL DISMISSED. (PBSS3 ASSOCIATION TZLXGBAH.) BLEKHEIiI, December 4. The Marlborough Boxing Association dismissed an appeal by Carl Callaway against the decision t)ie referee (Mr Blanshard) in awarding Saturday night's contest, Kigby v. Callaway, to Kigby, on a foul. The Association passed a further resolution expressing the opinion that the foul was unintentional, being due to Callaway's misapprehension aa to the New 'Zealand contest rules.
