With banners inscribed "Venizelos, come and save us!" 100,000 people carried out a demonstration in a public square, and adopted.a resolution that the presence in Greece of Venizelos, to rescue the country from its difficulties, was ail urgent national necessity. Many former opponents of "V enizelos are actively supporting a growing movement for his recall from Paris, where he is now residing.
