WELLINGTON, December 4
The Union Steam Ship Co. announces that the Maheno replaces the 'Manuka in the intercolonial service, sailing from Wellington on January 4th. The Manuka will be laid up. In view of heavy bookings, it has been decided that the Mararoa will make a special trip to Lyttelton from Wellington on December 21st, returning to Wellington next day. i'he Mararoa relieves tiie Wainui in the Picton service during the Christmas holidays, making the first trip from Wellington on December 24th, returning to Wellington the same evening.
