CHORAL SONG AND DANCE.
In aid of St. Anne's House, Miss Iran* Mulvany Gray and Mi:a Millicent Jennings will give an - evening performance at th» Caledonian H»ll on Wednesday, 12th inet. The programme ia of exceptional interest to those who love the arts of music and dance. Miss Gray herself will act a acena from the Mime play "I/Enfant Prodigtie" by Michel Carre, and will also interpret in dance Grieg's "Spring.'' The elder pupils of the Peters-Gray School will be seen in several beautiful symbolic dances. Mia» Jennings will sing folk songs from the Western Isles of Scotland with choral accompaniment; her SO \ choral singers (sopranos, altos, tenors, bassee) will also fling mod«rn part songs of a gay character, one especially interesting being "Five Eyes, a poem of Walter de la Mare, arranged by Mis 3 Jennings from a song by Armstrong Gibbs. There will be a duo lor pianos by Miss Alice Carter and Mr# Cyril White, and a duo for "cellos by two pnpj» of Mr Francis Bate. Tickets are at Ine Bristol, where seats may be reserved.
