CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ACTIVITIES. (SfXCUX. TO "TBS PMWM.") WELLINGTON, December 3. Tli© "Wellington Chamber of Commerce, which is interesting itself in gaining publicity for Wellington at the British Empire Exhibition, has approached the "Wellington Amateur Photographic Society with a view to their helping in the work. It is asking for prints sutable for enlargement up to 23in by 17in and for the collection of suitable views—street scenes, residential aquatic, sporting, and scenic—which could be mounted on albums and displayed in the New Zealand Court. A circular to members of the society adds:—"The Chamber of Commerce would gladly assist any movement of this kind bv providing the albums and attending to the detail in respect of lettering, mounting, elc., and if the idea meets with your society's approval, the Chamber would render such assistance as it can offer, as it fmiy realises that the British Empire Exhibition affords a publicity opportunity that occurs but seldom tor citizens to perform for this city and themselves a service by advancing the claims of the neighbourhood."
