;An amusing "comma" story is told by Mr Edward Clodd in his memoir of Grant Allen. A compositor, who dissented strongly from Allen's moral philosophy, hacTto set up an interne* with that writer, in which occurred the sentence, "He is happily mar-* ried." He salved his, conscience by printing it, "He is, happily, married."
