RANGIORA SILVER BAND.
The annual ball of the Rangiora SAves Band was held in the Drill Hall last night Owing to several counter-attractions, the" attendance was not as largo as was expected The dance, however, *«, a very enjoyable affair. The music was supplied by the Band Orchestra, o: nine performers. The hall waa decorated with blue and gold streamers, and with the electric lighting effect presented n, •pleasiug scene. Amongst those present were several members of the Kaiapoi Band. The dutiesof M.C. were carried out by Messrs S. and W. Plaskett. Mr (i. Mardon made an efficient secretary.
