Half the Liverpool dockers have resumed work. The transport workers' conference rejected an amendment asking for support for the dock strikers, and adopted a motion requesting the strikers to resume work. Received July 10th, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 10. At a meeting which lasted five hours, the dockers' unofficial strike committee adopted a resolution asking the Union officials to negotiate with the tmployers for a resumption of work and suggesting that tho employers should waive the latest wages cut of one shilling a day, seeing that Parliament itself declares that the cost of living basis is wrong. It is pointed out that this interpretation of Parliament's opinion is open to question. Earlier in the day the annual conference of Transport "Workers adopted a resolution urging the dockers to return to work so as to maintain their organised strength and enable their grievances to be dealt with unitedly.
