GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S VISIT. (SPECIAL TO '"THE PBES3.") GREYMOUTH, July 9. Lord Jellicoe will visit Westlana about January next, during the period of the Exhibition at Hokitika. Born 87 yeais ago in County Tipperary, Ireland, he came to New Zealand at an early age. He was for many years at Maori Creek and later resided at Paroa. Deceased leaves throe sons and two daughters. The death occurred to-day of Mrs Curtain, wife of Mr P. Curtain, Brunner. Deceased, who was 52 years of ago, had been ailing for about ten days. She was born at Waimea, and was a daughter of Mr P. Roland and the late Mrs Roland, of • that district. She leaves four sons and three dauglit ers.
