NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The fourth lectuxi of the course of six lectures which are being delivered by Professor H. Stewart will be given to-day, at 5.10 p.m., in Lecture Room No. 15, Canterbury College. Tlin title of the lecture will be "Fourth Century Sculpture" and will be fully illustrated by lantern elides. Tickets (2a 6d) are obtainable at the Registrar's or Rector's office. Students of Canterbury College and the School of Art are admitted free. Tthere will be no "Community Sing today owing to the prev&lenoo of influenza. The Eyreton hare drive starts from R. 0. Dixon's homestead at 8 a.m. The Hororata Golf Club Ball has been postponed indefinitely. Nelson College Old Boys'a Re-T7nion Dinner will be held at the White Hart Hotel on Tuesday, July 17th. At the Psycho-Therapeutical Society tonight, Mr W. J. Michie will sp?ak on "How wo may use our mental forces to build up healthy minds and bodies." j
