Cocks, State Treasurer, disagrees with the statement of the Federal Prime Minister, Mr Bruce respecting the financial agreement, and is conferring with Dr. Earl Page, Federal Treasurer, to-day, before announcing his interpretation of the agreement. * Later. Mr Cocks conferred with Dr. Earl* Page on the taxation Agreement. Although no statement has been issued, it is unofficially reported that the hitoh in the proceedings has been removed. BOBART, July 9. Sir "Walter Lee, Tasnianian Treasurer, on returning from a visit to the Federal Prime Minister, Mr Bruce, stated that the situation which had arisen respecting the financial proposals of the Commonwealth waa unsatisfactory.
