The Ngakuta is to ge despatched to-day for Gieymouth, taking general cargo. The Wingatui arrived ye3terda.y afternoon from Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail to-day (or Punedin. TAIROA HELD UP. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa was to have sailed from Lytteltoa last evening for London, but owing to the action of a. eection of her stokehold crew heir departure has been postponod until this morning. When the vessel was ready to sail, it was discovered that three firemen had absented themselves, the remainder thereupon refusing to eail, and moat of them caino ashore. For over an hour they remained on the wharf, sheltering in the railway trucks, and after a consultation with the agents, the oaptain deoided to remain in port over night and put out into the stream earrj this morning The men thereupon returned to their ship. One new man was signed on last night and two others will be shipped this morning.
