YESTERDAY'S RESULTS. The Christchurch Competitions -were advanced another stage yesterday, and are now nearing completion, the last items being heard on Thursday morning. The Choral Hall is now vacated, all the competitions being heard in the Theatre Eoyal. The attendance was again a large one last night. The results, were as follows: ENGLISH SONG OR BALLAD. Soprano. The final stage of the grand choir con- \ test will bo heard in the Theatre Koyal ! to-night. The three competing choirs willsing the ''Marx Fishermen's Evening Hymn," to a fine arrangement by ~W. H. The timetable, for the .morning and afternoon sessions is advertised. Demonstration Concerts bv prize winners will be held on Thursday Friday end Saturday evenings in the Theatre Royal, and there will be a matinee on Saturday afternoon. Admission to the day sessions is sixpence, and to the evening concerts, 3s, 2s and Is; and the bos plan is at The Bristol.
