The quarterly meeting of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce is to he held to-night at S o'clock, in tha X«.vy League Hall. The fifth annus.! meeting of the Canterbury J.P.'s Association will he held in the Navy League's Hall on' Tuesday, May 29th, at 8 p.m. To-day at 3 o'clock the Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, of the Auckland Tabernacle, will sDeak at the United Baptist Mission in the iJaptist Church, Oxford terraoe, on Man—or In and Out of the Garden of Eden."
