AKAROA CLUB.
A handicap singles tournament for members of the Akaroa Tennis Club was decided recently. There was a large entry, and the concluding rounds resulted as followsThird Round-Miss Winnie Le Lievre (owe SO) 9 beat Miss Aileen Le L'ierre (owe 30) 7; Miss McLennan (owe 30) 9 beat Mrs Ferguson (rec. J 15) 6r Miss M. Kotlowski (scr) 9 beat Miss E'thel Le Lievre (owe 15) 8Miss Jeanette Le Lievre (owe 15) won bv default. '
Semi-final—Miss Winnie Le Lievre 9 beat Mibs McLennan 7; Miss Jeanette Le Lievre 9 beat Miss Kotlowslti 7.
Final—Miss Jeanette Le Ljevre (owe 15) 9 beat Miss Winnie Le L ; evre (owe 80) 5 The winner takes a handsome tiophy presented by Mr E. E. Le Lievre, president of the club.
