CHILDREN LEFT DESTITUTE.
*H — ■WORLD'S MOST PATHETIC There is no cause which should 'ap- ' peal more to all kindly-hearted people than the efforts which are being made ori behalf of the helpless young. Children who have been deprived of their parents or children left destitute are amongst the most pathetic spectacles the world can offer, and only those intimately connected with cases of this nature in our country really know what is being done by St. Savour's Orphanages. * Several large firms have made generous donations to the special Building Fund during the last few days, private subscriptions have also been generous; but a considerable amount still remains to be subscribed for , the very necessary buildings required to house the many unfortunate-children that ar< at present denied admission to St. Saviour'b through lack of accommodation. Don't withhold your donation until a collector calls; you can materially help forward this charitable work by forwarding it direct to the Seeie; tary, St. Saviour's Orphanages, corner Cashel and Manchester streets, Christchureh, or by leaving it at THE TENT -, on the Cathedral Grounds in. - the Square.
