VICTORY MEMORIAL SCHOOL FAIR.
The Fair whioh is to be held to-day in the grounds of the Victory Memorial School, and which ie to be opened by his Grace Archbishop Julius at 2 p.m., promisee to be a very successful event. Ail the stall* are well stocked with goods, and includ« needlework, fancy goods, children's clothing and toys, men's goods, cokes, sweets, produce, books, and miscellany. The Fair is to be oarried on until 9 p.m. Entertainments will be given during the afternoon, and before the. close of business in the evening by a well-known concert party. A baby show and children's decorated wheelbarrows will be features of the day. There will be a wide range and variety of sideshows and competitions, and the winners in the latter, as well as in baby show and wheelbarrow sections, should be well rewarded by the prizes which are being offered. A side of mutton, lamb, hams, end a halfton of ooke are available as spoils for the skilful.
