A member of the State Parliament, who is also president of tho Suburban Amateur Radio Broadcasting Club, has written to the Speaker of the Assembly, suggesting that a broadcasting set should bo established in Parliament House to provide for the broadcasting of members' speeches, thus enabling each and all to participate in Parliamentary life. The cost would bo about £OOO, which ho considers would be money well spent. The letter adds that tho hospitals will bo linked up in the very near future, so that patients and sufferers may be cheered and encouraged by the spoken word or well-played music. The letter does not make" it clear whether the last sentence refers to Parliamentary debates and their incidentals.
