COLLEGE HOUSE.
TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PBESS.")
Sir, —While, as one whose parentagp takes her back to the olden days, expressing great appreciation of the fact that the Board of Governors of Christ's College have in hand the extension of College House, I want to ask if there is anywhere a history of Christ's College corresponding to the history or o. John's College, Auckland, written, by Mx Davis, , an old scholar of that Coi- ]©"©. I have never come across one, vet surely there must be many records in connexion with both the Collegiate Department and the scliool worthy o preservation. All Ototerbuiy- w F°ud of Christ's College, and will, doubtless show their pride in their old institution bv a liberal response to the present appeal for College House, but could not one of the Somes Scholars do i<Sr our Christohurch college what a Marsii Scholar has done for the Auckland one:' —Yours, etc £ lSTO fl,y Ig A TONIO. Ohristchuroh, April 16th.
