RED INTERNATIONAL. GENERAL STRIKE URGED. (BT CABLE —PEES 9 ASSOCIATION —COPTBIOHT.) (aobtealian and h.z. cable association.) ) LONDON, April 15. A conference of the Red International of Labour Unions passed a resolution in favour of a general strike .to remedy workers' grievances. They are demanding a minimum of £4 weekly for all adults, a forty-four-hour week, and the full maintenance of unemployed and their dependants. The lliga correspondent of "The Times" states: "It is reported in Moscow that the Third International is sending eight delegates, probably headed by Radek, to a conference of all peoples of the Pacific, which the Australian Communist Party is arranging to hold in Sydney.
