NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
I The annual general meeting of members of. the Mariat Bros. Old Boys' Association wiH. be held in the Scfioolroom, Barbadoes etreety to-night at 8 o'clock. A special meeting of the Christchurch Cooperative Bootmakers' Society will' he held in the Trades Hall to-morrow night at '< o'clock to nominate a workers' representative for the Arbitration Court. A grand garden fete in aid of Nazareth House will be held in the grounds, Brougham street, on Saturday, March 10th. Local watchmakers', jewellers', and, engravers' establishments will close all day on Saturday on the occasion of the annual picnio at Bangiora. The monlhy meeting of the Canterbury Fruitgrowers' Association will be held on Saturday evening at 8 o'clock. . The Bosemary Dance Assembly will take place in the Hibernian Hall to-night at 8 o'clock. The annual meeting of the Christchurch Garrison N.C.O.'s Club will be held in the King Edward Barracks on Thuraday next at 8 p.m.
