MURDERER'S CONFESSION.

A twenty franc note with a corner torn off was responsible for the arreet of Louis Bourgido, on a charge of murdering Madelaine Revilain, who was found strangles in her bedroom at Rouen. The woman* had presented tho note at a cafe earlier to the day, when it was refused because it was torn. "When Bourgido agpeared with the note later on the cafe-keejier'e suspicions were aroused, and in reply to questions Bonrgjdo confessed to the murder.
