He was asked to supply a tender for the paintj ing of a. house in « certain street in the borough, and this being satisfacI tory to the owner, he started right I away on the job But he nearly tell | off the ladder when asked what "right ; he had to paint a man's house without his permission. He was on the wrong section! He dropped his brushes into the pot, gathered the ladders under his arm, and left hurriedly, but the owner strongly objects to hi 3 domicile bearing a piebald appearance, and the job will have to be finished at tho unfortunate paiiiier s ß expense.
