CHRIST'S COLLEGE SPORTS. Favoured by perfect weather, the pupils of Ohxist'e College held their annual swimming sporxs at Corsair Bay yesterday, about 400 of the boys proceeding to .Uyttelten by apeoiul train; Among those -present at the bay were the Mayor of Lyttelwn (Mx W. I. Lester), and Commander G. Sheraton and oihcers of H.M.b. .Laburnum.

Owing to the low tide, all the events, with the exception of the 200 yds handicap and the 100 yds under 15, were decided from the ladies' baths to a raft about 60yds distant and back. The distances were therefore approximate only, and the times cannot be regarded as strictly accurate. J.Ci 1 Hislop won the 2Ooyda open championship as well as the 2Ooyds handicap from scratch out of 48 competitors. Results:—

Won by 16 yards. Time, 2min 7eec. Five starters. 220 yds Championship (open)—J. C. Hißlop, 1; H. S. Weston, 2; E.-P. Murphy, 3. Won by 10 yards. Time, Smin 34sec. Seven starters.

100 yds Back-race Handicap—A. *W. Robinaon, I ; J, C. Robertson, 2: C. W. Alison, 9. Won by seven yards. Bo time taken. Twenty starters. 220 yds Handicap—J. 0. Hislop (sor), 1; H. Elworthy (46seo), 2; E. C. Overton (ISaeo), 8. "Won by> a yard'. No tim* was taken. Forty-three starters.

100 yds (under 15)— R. R. Murphy, 1; J. W. Biddies, 2; J. Sinclair, 3. Won by two yards. No time taken. Five starters. The remaining- events, including' the diving, will be decided at the College "baths.
