The fight was for a club purse of £7OO and the new Lonsdale belt. Lako is a youngster of twenty-two and has only boxed for four years, during which time he has engaged is fifty-seven contests and been defeated throe times.

Lake was very quick and elusive in the early rounds though Harrison occasionally got in a hard right which steadied Lake. Later Lake showed marked superiority to .Harrison, who fell to a left to the chin in the thirteenth round, but was up quickly. Harrison tried all he could to 6ecure a knockout, but Lake fought Harrison away in fine style, showing manifest superiority.
