THE LOUISIANA ENQUIRY. (BS CABLE—PEESB ASSOCIATION—COPTBIOHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AJTD y. Z . CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 18th, 11.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 17. According to a message from Mer Rouge, Louisiana, the first active legal step in the Ku Klux Klan enquiry occurred to-day, when a group of witnesses retained counsel to guide them in answering questions. Counsel advised witnesses not to answer various qucstons, on the ground of possiblo incrimination.
