BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL v. ST, ANDKEW'S.

The first elevens of the Boys' High School and St. Andrew's College met for the firßt time in a one-innings match yesterday, at St. Andrew's College ground. Boys' High School won by 39 runs. Cromb played a fine innings for 47. Bowling honours went to Burrows and Cromb (High School), and 'H. Dowling (St. Andrew's). The fielding of both teams was good. At the conclusion of the match, J. T. Burrows, School captain, said that he hoped this was only the first of many enjoyable games, and called for three cheers for St. Andrew's. Captain H. Both sides contained many promising young players who have been coached during the past throe seasons by Mr F. Shaoklock. The Combined 1 Schools win was due chiefly to the failure of the best WaltKam batemen, Oliver, Kerr, arid Dawson. The fielding of tho Waltham team was very good.
