DANCE RECITAL AND CONCERT.

In spite of counter-attractiors there was a large audience at the Choral Hall last evening, when a grand concert of exceptional merit was presented. 'lhe programme was lengthy, and the various ite:-ns were well received. Tho first part was taken up with a charming dance recital by the pupils of Miss B Maedonald. Miss Maedonald is cne of the foremcat teachers of dancing in Christchurch, and tho capable manner in which tho instructs her pupils wns well exemplified last ovemn s .
