In the House of Lords, Lord Islington made a strong attack on the system of government in Palestine. He urged the passage of legislation by which the present Zionist system of administration of Palestine which was positively detested by the Arabs, who formed an overwhelming Droportion of the population, would be replaced by a system nearly approximately a national form of government, with a modified policy to financially relieve British residents of Palestine.
