ROSE DAY TO-MORROW.
Rose Day will be held to-morrow. The object of the street collection is to assist in raising the £2090 still required for the Christclmrch War Memorial Bridge of Remembrance. Postcards of the Bridge of Remembrance, in sepia and in colour, will also be sold. They are most appropriate for sending away with Christmas greetings. The Horticultural Society, which is Ifolding its annual Rose Show in the Art Gallery to-morrow, is also arranging a stall for the sale of blooms in aid of the Bridge of Remembrance funds. All who have roses or flowers of any knd are invited to assist by sending them to the Chamber of Commerce, Cathedral square, to-morrow morning.
