OBITUARY.
MR A. MORRIS. The supporters of the Rugby League will learn with regret of the death of Mr A. Morris, which took place after a long illness on Sunday morning. Deceased was one of the first plavera to join the ocdo here in 1912, and represented the provincial team in 1912-13-14. After giving up playing, he took up duty as a referee, «nd his services were always sought after. The late Mr Morris, prior, to joining the League, -was a member of the Lyttclton and Albion Rugby Clubs, and represented Canterbury in 1911. He leaves a widow and one son. The funeral takes place this morning at the Brom'.ey cemetery.
