A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

(special to "the press.") GREYMOUTH, November 20,

At a public meeting held to-day under the auspioes of the Chamber of Commerce, it was decided to revive the Greymouth A. and P. Association and hold a show at the end of February. Mr H. W. Kitchingham was elected president and the following were elected an' interim committee: Messrs Coatcs, Topliss, Bradley, McCallum, Scott, Fogarty, Kettje, Wise, Allison, .Parfitt, Baldock, T. G. Kitchingham, A. Smith, McLean, and Heephy. Mr Rose was appointed secretary, and Mr settle treasurer.

Kailway Affairs. A slip occurred on the Rewanui incline J ast evening at the place where the slip came down last week, consequently this morning's train from. Greymouth was unable to run beyond Dunollie, and there was no service between Dunollie and Rewanui. The slip cleared to-day and traffic will be resumed -to-morrow. The slip did not affect the State mine as the mine is idle owing to lack of snipping. Work may. re recommenced about the end of this week.

Workmen are engaged in . preparations for'removing the Ruuanga railway station from its present site to one about quarter of a mile on the Greymouth side of Itunanga, at the junction of the Rewanui line and the extension to Rapahoe; Ngakutu's Scratch Crew.

The Ngakhata arrived last night and working on the' deck of the steamer to-day were a number of very youthful looking Beamen, a scratch crew which signed on in Wellington. ITie seamen had been passed by the Board of Trade and were able to steer. One officer stated they had made a fast trip, better in fact, than many they had made with better crews.
