Dr. E. Kingscote, of London, a Harlev street consulting physician, is at .present in Auckland, While in that province he will continue among the Maoris some researches that he has been lately conducting with the breathing methods of various branches of the human family. He states that he has examined the respiratory movements of the Zulus, the Japanese, the North American Indians, the Turks,'and other races. He says that he found a better proportion of good breathers m the Turkish army than in any other .European army. He is now making arrangements for investigating the breathing of the Maoris.
