SELWYN. At the monthly meeting of the Selwyn County Council, there were present: Mr F. J. Andrew (chairman), and Crs. J. Hookndge, T. E. Pearson, W. Stone, B. M. laard, O. Hight, 'I. Skevihgton and N. J. Brown. Leave of absence was granted to Gr. Hail, i The engineer reported that the parapet I walla on the Crick culvert on Coalgate road had 'been pushed out badly by heavy tramo, i and would need rebuilding. Repairs had been made to MoKie'a road, Nelson's road, ' Macintosh's road, Sleeman's ford and Oordy's road' The bridges on Mollraith'a road and I TurnbuU'e road had been repaired and ar- ' rangements made for making up the ap- I preaches.
