Arch Druid Bro. Wm. McCafferty presided over tb.3'meeting of the ivy 01 Jjinwood Lodge, U.A.0.D., held in the Orange Hall. There- wad a Very largo attendanoe. 'i'he oaioera and members of the Pioneer Lodge attended and wore woloomcd heartily with Druidic honours. Sick pay amounting to £l3 10s. was, passed for payment, and also a maternity allowance claim. An invitation received from the Hope of Ambertey Lodge •to . attend, their meeting ca Saturday . next, wa3 accepted. Bros. George and Leggo reported having attended a meeting of the U.F.S. Council Picnic Committee regarding arrangements and general Icr tho picnic on Boxing Day, Bro. Tonkin reported' that the Eangiora U.F.S. Card Association would pay a r?turn visit to Chri3tchurch on Saturday, November 25th, "After ths routine business had bren dealt with tho adjourned to play tho Pioneer a friendly _n-ame of cards, which resulted in a win for, ths Ivy. freshments were handed round, and. a pleasr ant hour was spent.
