The negotiations between the Govcrr.rr.ent and the Reparation Commission hurc concluded. The chairman. M Rarthou, said: "I am satisfied v.-;\-i r,-;r visit. Tec Berlin correspondent of the Central News Agency reports that Messrs Lazard Brothers, of London, have offered Germany a loan of £25,000,000. Meisrs Lazard Brothers are private bankers and loan agents. The partners include Sir Bobert Kindersley, Mr Emile Pnsch, the Hon. H. B. Brand, and the Hon. Olive Pearson. (United Service.) Messrs Lazard Brothers deny the report that the group of international bankers with which their name is associated is prepared to lend Germany £25,000,000. DEPRECIATED EXCHANGES. Speaking at Cardiff, he said that since the Carlton dub resolution the exchanges of Europe had collapsed. France, thejj were told, was delighted that his Government had gone, and that she was now going to get compensation in reparations from Germany. Yet her money had gone down as it never" had before,' while' Germany, had completely collapsed.
