AMERICA AND THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
♦_ STATEMENT BY AUSTRALIAN DELEGATE. (Received November 10th, 9.36 p.m.) v NEW YORK, November 9. Mr Justice Rich, who is on his way to Australia, pointed out that the Australian delegation to the Leaguo of Nations Assembly at Geneva bad taken a special interest in the coi sideration of tho possibility of the United States joining the League. The delegation had urged that the United States should be induced to enter the Le-guc, and that provision should be made for the alteration of Article 10 of the Covenant in such a manner as to remove tho United' States' present objections to the Article.
