Thrill succeeds thrill in rapid succession until one is bewildered by their very number. The plot, wonderfully developed, .works to a dramatic conclusion in a steady progression of events of increasing intensity reheved here and there by remarks in a bnlW dialogue as welcome as they are witty. All the time the audience is endeavouring to place the gm.t on the real criminal, but so well is discovery guarded against that it is only when the curtain is en the point of being rung down that the mystery is solved Miss Dunne, as Lizzie, is the humourist of the cast, and excellently docs she do it Miss Temple give* the impression of great power as she |uides the plot. Miss Wilford ooes much to foster the sense of mystery. The male actors, one and all, invest the mystery with bh enthralling interest.
