Details of the nturder of two men, Condren and O'Sullivan, at Billiluna, by an aborigine, show that the nativt shot and wounded O'Sullivan, and shot Condren dead. O'Sullivan took refuge in a hut. When he begged for water, the murderer threatened to shoot the other aborigines if they gave him a drink. For three days O'Sullivan remained without water. Then the murderer shot" him dead and hitched the two bodies behind a torse, dragged them to a gra?e, and buried them. He looted the dead men's property, and fled, threatening -that ff whites followed he would shoot them. [A recent message stated that the murderer was shot dead while endeavouring to escape from a police escort after being arrested.]
