The fruit season is uow practically over (ptateß the ".Napier Daily Telegraph"). only a few lata varieties of apples and pears being left 011 the trees. Orchardists have had a splendid season, and are probably among the few sections of the community that, are not deeply affected by the "slump." The crops have been above the average, and the orices on the whole highly satisfactory.
