ENGINEERING DISPUTE.
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BEACHED. (By Cable—Press Association—OopyrijJit.) (Australian and X.JCabU Association.) (Received May 21st, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 21. A tentative agreement, involving a modification oV the employers' former proposals, has been reached in legard to the engineering lcck-out at a conference of the employers, and the 47 unions, excluding the Amalgamated Engineers, who declined to attend, 'ine agreement is to be submitted to the members of the unions concerned.
