CHRISTCHURCH (4) v. CRANTOBD (1). Christchurch met Cranforf at Hagley Park. The latter team could muster only eight of their team, and Christchurch generously consented to Ackroyd filling ono of the vacancies in the back division. Y.M.C.A.- (2) v. SYDENHAM (2). In the early stages of the game play hovered in midfield until Sydenham broke away and reached Y.M.C.A. circle, but Evenss and Drayton cleared. Play waß quickly returned to Y.M.C.A.'s territory, and French and Sherriffs took the ball into the circle. French sent in a good shot, which 4)rayton saved, but Pascoe, following in, scored (iff the rebound. Y.M.C.A. put in a sustaitied attack and Snooks, brought off « few good saveß. French and Sherriffs headed a Sydenham rush,' which gave Cummins a shot at ' goal, which went wide. At half-time the score was Sydenham . 1, Y.M.C.A.' 0. The second half opened with Y.M.CIA. attacking strongly, and a-couple of hot shots were saved by Snooks. A solid rush by the Sydenham forwards ended. in Cummins finding the net. ' Ford put in a good run, and transferred to Faulkner, but the latter missed the net with a lightning shot. Y.M;C.A. ■ pressed • hard, and again Ford and Everiss started a. forward movement, which reached the Sydenham circle. Hill secured from Ford, and shot,' and Snooks, saved,' but Holland followed in smartly, and opened Y.M.C.A.*'s score,. Y.M.C.A. attacked persistently, and a few minutes Before time put in a great run, led by Holland- and Hill. Tho latter passed to Ford in the centre, and he equalised the scores. Mr S. fx, Holland was referee.

TECHNICAL (2) v. SELWYN (2). Selwyn had the better of the game in the opening stages, and penetrated into the Technical circle where, - after Smith had cleared twice, W. Bell lifted the- ball into the net from a scramble. Selwyn took a turn in attack, but found Morris safe, and the Technical forwards went down, Gracie's shot just missing. Half-time went with Selwyn attacking. Technical went away on resuming, and after Selwyn had conceded, a couple of, penalty corners, ' Chudley Tech-, nic'al sent ; the ball out, Squirei 'securing : fromi the roll-in, and gave Smith no chance.
