An important development has. occurred in the gasworkers' dispute, tho companies declining to postpone reductions in wnges or to discuss the question of wages with the Union.
Tho Union has convened a meeting for Sunday to decide whether to strike. Grave fear.9 are entertained that tho employees will oeaao work on Monday.
