FEILDING, May 10. The following statement of economies made in the Public Service was given by the Prime Minister, to-night. . The total amount saved as the. result of the first cut in tlie cost of living in-crease-for January, February, and Marcli, 1922, was £177,234, equivalent to an aririual saviiig of £752,936.
