EASTER RINK TOURNAMENT. SECOND DAY'S PLAT. •Play in the, Easter Rink Tournament ■was continued on Saturday under ideal bowling conditions. Tie weather so far has been perfect, and the greens have been all that could possibly be desired. Play throughout has been of a high standard, and some excellent games have been witnessed. In Section D, Penlington (Linwood) holds pride of place; he has gone through without a loss. Sewell (Edgeware), who won his first five games, went down to Proctor (Christchurch) by two points on the last head. Amongst those who have five wins to their credit are TJsshcr (Timaru), Healey Linwood), Dr. Sandston, and Hardie (Christchurch), and Herd (Edgeware). Last year's- winners—Shearman, Banks, Summers, and Cos, have four wins to their credit, and if they are successful in winning their next two games they will still have a chance to defend the title.
