U.S. REPARATION CLAIM.

Great Britain has formally notified the ' United ' States that she has never questioned the justice or validity pf the American claim that the costs of the United States army of occupation in Germany shall be taken out of German reparation payments, and will immediately consult France and Belgium to find a means to satisfy it. Sir C. -E. Hughes, Secretary of State, has replied, expressing gratitude at the British attitude.
