BRITISH CO-OPERATION WITH \ DOMINIONS. (By Cable—Press Association— Copyright.) - (Banter's Telegrams.) LONDON, April 9. . Mr L. C. Amery, speaking at Birmingham, intimated that he hoped soon to introduce a Bill enabling Great Britain, in co-operation with the Dominions, to start a new scheme under which ex-Service men and others would get a chance overseas. Men would not be encouraged overseas unless reasonable arrangements were made for obtaining employment for them.(Received April 11th, 11.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 11. Speaking at the conference of the New Settlers' League, the Prime Minister, Mr Hughes, said the British Government had not yet submitted their immigration proposals, but he had no doubt of Bach financial co-opera-tion as would enable Australia to deal with the question in a manner never attempted before. Sir George Fuller promised the full co-operation of the State Government with any Federal scheme.
