Y.11.C.A. CAMERA CLUB. Tho Christchurch Y.M.C.A. Camera Club | held its final field outing of the season at New Brighton on Saturday afternoon. The photographeie worked down stream from the tram bridge to Herring Bay. Boating facilities wero provided by two boating enthusiasts, Messrs Butcher and Willcox. ST. ALBAN3 SCHOOL COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the St. Albaca School Committee was attended by Messrs T. P. Mtore (chairman), Bedweli, DangerfieJd, Green, Harrison, Fraser, Jones, St&ndexing, and Wright. Correspondence from the Education Board granting £35 towards the cost of the front fence, was read. It was reported that Mr Kowo had been appointed to th® position of assistant master. Miss Often had. been appointed aa assistant mistress, and Miss McGregor had taken up her duties. Mr Sutherland (headmaster) expressed hia sympathy in. regard to the death of Alan Araott. jipur of his class mates had acted aa pallbearers, and a handsome wreath was seat by the school. The headmaster reported that tho general health of the scholars was good, and also that good attendances hr.d boon maintained, the average being S7B out of * roll number of 632.
