[An earlier message said that an explosion at Port Tipton (Staffordshire) killed ten and injured thirty girls who were removing the contents of 160 tons of cartridges. The explosion occurred wbilo the contents were being put into a seDarate receptacle and blew off the roof." The fifty girls in the room were blackened beyond recognition.!
