ST. MICHAEL'S BOY SCOUTS.

AOTHTAL MEETING. The annual meeting of St. Michael's Boy Scouta was held in the echoolroom on Friday. Tho vicar (Rev. C. E. Perry) presided over a good attendance. The ann-ual report and balance-sheet were adopted. Tho following officers were elected:—Troop Committee, Mesdames Bain ton, Owen, Patterson, Tapper, Messrs Bainton, M&thieson, and Congreve; hon. secretary, Mr G. HCongreve; hon. treasurer, Mr W. Mathieson; Finance Conunittw, Messrs Mathieson (convener), Bainton, and Congreve; delegates to local Association, Messrs Congreve, Mathieson, Bainton, and Hattereley. The chairman expressed his appreciation of the attendance of Soouts at tho early morning; service on Sunday moming3, which reflected credit on the training given by tho Scoutmaster. He stressed the 'act that mo immense good obtained from St. Michaefa Scouta was undoubtedly due to tho unselfish labour of Mr Froggatt, and the meeting agreed that the Scoutmaster was deserving of all the credit for the high etandard of efficiency reached by tho troop. • It was agreed that the Troop Committee should meet quarterly. A discussion on week-end c.ampa was held, and, on the motion of Mr Hattersley, seconded by Mr Bainton, it waas decided that the Scout 3 must complete- all home lessons before taking part in any week-end camp. At the close of the meeting, on the motion of Mr Hattersley, a hearty vote ol confidence wsa accorded Mr Fioggatt.
